Speech Services
Our speech pathologist supports a variety of needs including: articulation, auditory processing, receptive and expressive language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, gestalt language learning, stuttering and early literacy skills.
Speech therapy is offered for 30 minutes through insurance or up to 50 minutes for private therapy. Our SLP has treated a variety of conditions:
Phonological disorders
Articulation disorders
Speech/lang. associated with autism
Language delays
Vocal nodules
Gestalt language learning
Apraxia of speech & aphasia following stroke
Communication deficits caused by TBI
Cognitive/Memory deficits
Stuttering/fluency
Screening
$ 0 - Screening includes 10-15 mins to speak with family or observe the child to determine if an evaluation is needed.
evaluation
$Variable - Evaluation will include 50-60 minutes of formal assessment (direct) with the client. It also includes a write-up with an initial plan of care, recommendations and a discussion of results/goals to determine a treatment plan with the client & family.
Therapy
$Dependant on private pay vs. insurance - Therapy sessions include 30 minutes of direct therapy with the client to target communication goals (insurance) or up to 50 minutes for private sessions.
